Frequently asked questions about Surelia Assurance.
Scope, non-life lines covered, APIs, digital payments, reinsurance, CIMA markets, demos: the answers that matter before a first conversation.
Does Surelia cover Life / Protection?
The public scope of Surelia Assurance is focused on non-life / P&C insurance. Life, savings, pensions and life protection lines are not part of the current public scope.
Which non-life lines are covered?
Motor & fleet, home / household, fire & property damage, liability, commercial & industrial risks, marine / transport / cargo, travel & tourism, accident & assistance, and specialty risks.
Are the APIs ready for online sales?
Surelia exposes business APIs designed for omnichannel distribution: catalogue, rating simulation, quotes, underwriting, payment, documents, portfolio, claims. Actual availability of public endpoints and sandboxes depends on partner activations.
Does Surelia replace a PSP?
No. Surelia does not replace payment providers. The platform interfaces with the banks, PSPs, aggregators, mobile money operators or gateways the insurer has chosen.
How are payments reconciled?
Every payment is linked to its originating premium notice through an idempotent identifier. The PSP callback confirms the status, and the allocation creates the receipt and the corresponding technical accounting movement.
Does Surelia handle FAC / XOL reinsurance?
Yes. Surelia structures proportional and non-proportional treaties, facultatives, XOL, premium cessions, claims recoveries, cash-loss, bordereaux and reinsurer SOAs.
Which CIMA markets are covered?
Surelia is designed for the 14 member states of the CIMA region. The scope activated for each company depends on product coverage, channels and the payment partners selected.
How does a demo work?
A first 45- to 60-minute session frames your non-life priorities, your P&C lines, your digital distribution strategy and the modules to evaluate. It is followed by a targeted demo per module and, where relevant, an architecture scoping session.
